On Saturday 16th June we premiered the Hastings Refugee Buddy Scheme film at our Quilting Workshop (see the Facebook Event here for full details). The film includes interviews with a number of buddies, as well as the Project Leader Rossana Leal who gives an emotional insight into her own background arriving in the UK as an asylum seeker as a child. The film is an excellent introduction to the work of the project, and can be viewed below in the Hastings Buddy Scheme section of the website.
