10 years ago the body of 3 year old Alan Kurdi washed up on a beach in Turkey.
The world started to wake up to the terrible reality of the Refugee crisis.
Hastings mobilised an amazing volume of support – the compassion shown by our town at this time was a wonderful thing.
In these times when we are lead to believe that compassion is becoming a thing of the past we must strive to show it is not.
Please join us for a peaceful vigil to mark this terrible anniversary and to remember all who have lost their lives fleeing to safety.
