Fly The Flag

This year we are joining the celebration of 70 years of the UNĀ  Declaration of Human Rights by creating our own flag to be flown in Refugee Week, 24th – 30th June.

The Flag is dedicated to what Human Rights mean to us as individuals, and we are inviting the community to come into the OPEN Buddy Space between now and 20th June to give us your ideas!

Up in the workshop area of the space you will find two white boards with an explanation of what we’re doing, plus a space for you to stick your ideas to the wall (cards, pens and blutack all available!)

Please give us a word, a phrase, and image or a combination of all to show what Human Rights mean to you.

We will be transferring your ideas onto a large fabric flag to be flown during Refugee Week at a place to be announced soon!

If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us.
